Help needed for pleural thickening claim
We represent a client who suffers with a number of asbestos related conditions, including pleural thickening, pleural plaques and a pleural effusion.
He was exposed to asbestos when working for Warren Brothers Limited between approximately 1961 and 1969. We are looking for witnesses who may be able to provide evidence in support of his claim for asbestos compensation.
Our client worked as an apprentice welder plater and later as a fully qualified plater for Warren Brothers Limited and was sent out to work for the Central Electricity Generating Board (CEGB). He worked at three power stations, namely, Drakelow Power Station, Leicester Power Station and Rugeley Power Station. He recalls that the power stations were hot and dusty and he regularly worked below CEGB employees who removed asbestos lagging from pipework around the plant.
In order to support our client’s claim for asbestos compensation we would love to hear from anyone who worked at the three power stations, whether for CEGB, Warren Brothers or other contractors who carried out work at the stations. Additional witness evidence could help us secure the asbestos compensation our client deserves for his asbestos related pleural thickening which has had a debilitating affect on his quality of life.
If you can assist in providing evidence for this asbestos claim, please contact us today on our Freephone number 0800 038 6767. Alternatively, head over to the ‘Contact Us’ page, complete the form and we will be in touch.
