Have you worked for any of these companies? If so, we need your help to achieve justice for a number of people exposed to asbestos.

We need to speak to people who have worked at:

  • Brown & Jackson Limited, Fleetwood.
  • Vickers PLC, at the Vicker’s Shipyard.
  • The Hebburn Yard of Hawthorn Leslie Shipbuilders.

Help us achieve justice in a pleural thickening claim:

We are currently pursuing a claim for a client who was diagnosed with pleural thickening back in 2016.

The client was exposed to significant amounts of asbestos dust when working for Brown & Jackson Limited, Fleetwood. We believe that this company is part of the Eric Wright Group of companies.

Our client  worked on various sites for the company as a joiner. His job involved cutting up asbestos sheets between approximately 1973 and 1977.

It would assist in his pleural thickening claim if witnesses could come forward. It would be invaluable to hear witness statements referring to any experiences of asbestos dust exposure when working for the company.

If you have any evidence that could assist in this claim for pleural thickening compensation, please make contact with us on our Freephone number: 0800 038 6767

Help us achieve justice in an asbestosis claim:

Our second client received an asbestosis diagnosis in 2016 and may also be suffering from a pleural effusion.

Whilst working for Vickers PLC at the Vickers Shipyard our client was exposed to a large amount of asbestos dust. He worked for this company for around two and a half years during the late 1950s.

Our client worked aboard ships as a shipwright and suffered substantial exposure to asbestos because pipework was regularly being lagged on the ships. He describes the working conditions aboard the various ships as a, “snowy winter scene”.

He suffered comparable exposure to asbestos dust when working at the Hebburn Yard of Hawthorn Leslie Shipbuilders between 1969/70 and 1970/71. We believe that Swan Hunter (now Smith’s Dock Company Limited) will be responsible for paying asbestosis compensation in this case.

If you worked at any of the shipyards mentioned and believe you can help our client in his asbestosis claim then please make contact with us on our Freephone number: 0800 038 6767.
