We have been instructed by Mrs S who has sadly been diagnosed with incurable mesothelioma. She worked for Skefo Ball Bearing Company Limited (now known as SKF (U.K.) Limited), Luton Bedfordshire between 1966 and 1974 approximately.
We are looking to speak to others who worked for the company during the same period to assist in this urgent mesothelioma claim. In particular, we would like to speak to maintenance men who were involved in completing work during the 2-3 week annual shutdown periods where asbestos lagging is said to have regularly been removed from pipework running across the ceilings at the factory.
Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

We have been contacted by Mr L who has unfortunately been diagnosed with terminal, pleural mesothelioma. Evidence we have obtained in support of the mesothelioma claim confirms that he came into contact with harmful amounts of asbestos dust when sawing through asbestos sheeting at BAE Systems PLC’s Brough, Yorkshire site. The material was used to make and line furnaces at the location and we are looking to speak to any others who worked at the site between 1961 and the early 1980s.

We have recently been appointed to act for Mr W who has tragically been diagnosed with asbestos-related mesothelioma after undergoing a biopsy procedure at hospital.
The witness evidence supporting this mesothelioma claim explains how Mr W worked for a company called James Miller & Partners Limited of Pump Lane, Hayes, Middlesex for around 12 months from 1963 approximately. He worked in close proximity to a team of laggers who lagged heating pipes running from a newly constructed basement car park up to a shop and offices above ground level, opposite the Woking War Memorial Stand, near to Goldsworth Road. The location was actually on a crossroads, with one road going under Victoria Arch and the other down Goldsworth Road in Woking.
After the construction works were completed, a company called Maples Furniture moved in. Did you work for this company? Can you remember seeing the asbestos lagged pipes running through the building from the basement car park below?

Did you work in the building department of Camden Borough Council between 1963 and 1988? If so, we would love to hear from you as we have been instructed to deal with a claim for the family of Mr F who sadly passed away due to mesothelioma late last year.
Mr F worked on a number of demolition contracts for the council which resulted in him breathing in substantial quantities of asbestos dust, including at the Prince of Wales Swimming Baths, Kentish Town, London and at Holy Lodge in the same area.
