Last month we took part in Muffins for Meso in May.
This is a fundraising event for Mesothelioma UK. Mesothelioma UK is a national specialist resource centre. The charity provides information, support and education for mesothelioma. Not only do they fund research and awareness projects, they help to provide clinical nurse specialists for mesothelioma patients in NHS hospitals across the UK.
We wanted to support this fantastic charity, the work they do for the mesothelioma community is amazing. What better way to support a good cause than by baking and more importantly, eating cake!
Our resident bakers did a fabulous job providing delicious treats. We had some gooey chocolate cheesecake muffins, sticky jammy dodger cakes, syrupy lemon drizzle cake, triple chocolate muffins and much more.
We made £53.00 for Mesothelioma UK and would like to thank everyone who made and bought cakes.
